Net Eligibility

Delivering all the benefits of Eligibility Verification without the need for any hospital-based client software or server hardware, Net Eligibility accesses SSI's exclusive Eligibility Clearinghouse via the Internet to provide up-to-date access to eligibility requests and responses. From any PC connected to the Internet, users can retrieve such benefit information as inpatient days used, provider authorization numbers or deductible amounts. Depending on the payer, users can even be notified in advance of deductibles and copays as well as limitations in coverage for which the patient may be responsible. In certain cases, authorization numbers and referrals may also be provided.

Like SSI's Eligibility Verification product, Net Eligibility speeds up admissions, generates near instantaneous payer responses, ensures correct billing information and allows for reallocation of previously used FTE time. However, Net Eligibility presents no minimum monthly fee, secure access to SSI's Eligibility Clearinghouse, email notification, an intuitive browser interface and simplified installation and training. Plus, security blocks can be set according to user login, allowing or disallowing rights to send requests or view responses depending upon the administrator's specifications.
