Attachment Processing System

Addressing the paper claims attachment challenge, SSI ’s ClickON® Attachment Processing System enables the consolidation of paper claims with accompanying attachments for processing and mailing. Even though most healthcare claims are filed electronically, there are still some that require submission to payers via paper. These are usually claims that require additional documentation in the form of doctor’s notes, accident reports or other supporting notes. 

Providers pay between $25 - $30 for paper claims attachments submitted to payers. This process can also take about 30 to 40 days to complete.* SSI has an answer to the cost and turnaround time of working with paper claims -- the ClickON Attachment Processing System.

Even though most healthcare claims are filed electronically, some require additional documentation for processing. This documentation, in the form of attachments, is vital to getting some claims paid and may contain such information as doctors' notes or accident reports.

How It Works A third party mailing service accepts claims requiring attachments electronically from SSI clients via the company's ClickON Billing software. Claims are printed, collated, and all the necessary documentation is attached. The claims are then mailed to insurance payers for processing.

Web-based Integration
In keeping with the familiar reporting capabilities within the ClickON family of products, the Attachment Processing System provides for Web-based verification of mailing with the date and time available.

SSI’s Attachment Processing System integrates seamlessly with the ClickON Billing package for a streamlined workflow and continuity of business. SSI ensures these special claims are printed, collated and necessary documentation attached. The claims are then mailed to the appropriate insurance payer. Extensive reporting is available with Web-based verification of mailing with date and time available.
