Claims Status

SSI's Claims Status software is integral to the functionality of Accelerated Secondary Billing. It actually determines the payment status of Medicare claims by retrieving the Common Working File (CWF) from Medicare or any other payers that provide the HIPAA277 Claims Status transaction. This statusing capability provides unprecedented claim correction and change tracking capabilities, as well as facilitating an approximate eight to ten day collection advantage from secondary/supplemental insurances. By automating access to the payer, manual keying is eliminated and greater efficiencies are realized.

Claims Status may be scheduled to automate the statusing process according to your enterprise's business rules. Administrative personnel may set-up custom user/workgroup access and privileges, and it is configurable for multiple facilities.
